Spring is the most important season for your lawn. After months under snow, your grass needs attention to bounce back strong.
Step 1: Clean Up
Remove any debris, fallen branches, and dead leaves. These can smother new growth and create disease-prone spots.
Step 2: Check Your MowBro
If you stored your MowBro properly over winter, it should be ready to go. Charge the battery fully, clean the sensors, and replace the blades if they're worn.
Step 3: Inspect the Boundary Wire
Walk your lawn's perimeter and check that the boundary wire and pegs are intact. Winter frost can shift pegs, so resecure any loose sections.
Step 4: Start Mowing Gradually
Don't set your MowBro to cut at the lowest height right away. Start with a higher cutting height and gradually lower it over a few weeks. This reduces stress on the grass.
Step 5: Feed Your Lawn
Apply a spring fertilizer once the ground temperature reaches about 10°C consistently. Your MowBro's frequent clipping already provides natural mulch, but a boost of nutrients helps recovery.
A little spring prep goes a long way. Your MowBro will handle the rest all season long.
